Default What should i wear for whitewater rafting?

is there any gear or protective equipment i need. also what kind of clothing should i wear.

The weather/temperature will mandate the answer. In general; a helmet and a PFD. Warm weather: foot gear, long trousers and a long sleeved shirt. Cold weather; foot gear and a wet or dry suit. Forget wool! Your outer wear need be water repellent. Often rain gear may afford comfort. Hypothermia is to be avoided. Note what the guides are wearing!
